Sorry. You seem to be using the old CVS tree. You should use the version
on subversions.gnu.org. This problem was fixed a long time ago.
Could someone please shut down the old cvs server!
The new CVSROOT is :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs
(No password, Module classpath)
Could you tell us where you got the old cvs tree from?
We must make sure that we update all the documentation.

But I have never seen such a problem. Could you try the new CVS version
