This looks good.  I'm checking it in.  Classpath hackers, I also
removed java/lang/ChangeLog and moved the entries into the toplevel
ChangeLog.

I haven't tried SpecJVM.  However, we recently merged the Classpath
and libgcj StreamTokenizer implementations.  The libgcj one was
largely preferred, so the Classpath implementation has changed quite a
bit.  As far as what ails it, I don't know -- Warren wrote that code.
If all else fails, you could submit a libgcj PR against it.

Yes, and this has been happening, but progress is slow.  No one has
had the time to do really major work, and the CNI/JNI issue still
needs attention.
