I've merged java.util.Date with libgcj. By and large I took the Classpath implementation since it had javadoc comments. However I extracted the parse() method from the libgcj implementation. I know it is deprecated, but we had a perfectly good implementation sitting there and there didn't seem to be a reason to abandon it.
