Patrick,
Have you cc:'ed me because "they" refers to me and an email exchange we had
earlier? I think that you're a bit unfair. I really tried to help you. I
apologize if I disappointed you, but I'm still not sure what you want. I
have said that in our group (i.e., ORP developers at Intel) we have set a
policy that we send the Classpath patches to the Classpath mailing list and
not to individual people. As soon as we believe that a patch is stable we
do send it the Classpath mailing list. I'm not aware of any secret patches
we keep to ourselves.

What do you mean be "they declined to tell me anything"? I have sent you
private email that explained which patch you should use for Hashtable
(http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03259.html). I haven't
sent you any email recently because you have finished our email thread with:

Never mind about the hash table stuff. I figured out a way to cobble it
together for now.

Thanks for your help.

English is not my first language and I apologize if I misunderstood your
email. In my reading of the above text you said that you didn't want
anything else from me. Can you bear with my poor English and explain in
simpler terms what you expect I will do? AFAIK, all the mods to Hashtable
have been posted by Gansha to the Classpath mailing list. I believe that
you can just take the patch from
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03259.html and it will
solve the 213_javac problem. Is this not the case? What problems do you
see after you apply that patch? If your VM still can't run 213_javac with
that patch, then there's a possibility that the difference is due to the
fact that ORP uses different native methods.

Michal

P.S. Please, please. Let's not start a flame war.
