For those that are not on that list yet attached is the proof that Mark Howard has been working really, really hard on this. Please try this out with your favorite VM/Compiler/Library combination. I tried with kaffe (kjc) but it was not up to the job (missing --sourcepath), so I had to use jikes. It does include natively compiled gcj libraries! Sorry for pushing the java-gnome bindings a bit, but I think this is a really nice thing to have for Gnome 2.5/2.6. And since I don't have that much time myself I hope some people can poke a bit at it so that when the first deadline (22 December) arrives the java-gnome hackers have a good candidate release. That is kind of a hard deadline since it determines which bindings will make it into the official Gnome Developer Platform 2.6 release in March. Cheers, Mark
