Hi all,
At the following URL,
http://fuseyism.com/japi/classpath.htmlI've posted the results of a run of FindBugs over current GNU Classpath HEAD. In theory, this should be updated nightly. Unfortunately, it currently has to be run using Sun's Java (which is why I do the run on a different machine). Last time I looked, the following problems occur when using Classpath HEAD: * A failure due to bug #19132 (http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19132). I patched this temporarily by just sending the character encoding name from the character set to one of the other constructors. * Running with JamVM causes out of memory problems (256mb and 384mb throw java.lang.OutOfMemoryException, 512mb makes the kernel kill the process) when running findbugs on GNU Classpath. * There was another problem when using HTML output (XML output succeeds on smaller projects). Unfortunately, I don't recall this off-hand. The results do show quite a few problems in GNU Classpath, although hopefully some are spurious :) Cheers, -- Andrew :-) Please avoid sending me Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint) attachments.
