Hi, Could someone clarify the difference between GPL+Exception and ASF? I'm interested both in the general differences but also specifically: - Why do you guys prefer GPL+Exception over ASLv2 ? - Why do the Apache guys prefer ASLv2 over GPL+Exception ?
(please tell me that there is some tangible difference here, and not just some NIH crap :D) Also, why did GNU go with GPL+Exception this time and not LGPL? Thanks.
