Having a look at Pads again last night, there's no way for a Pad to get configuredwe can also add an additional initialisation method --init(Map attributes)-- to the padding interface to cater for this new types of padders.
i'm hoping you're going to do this, account for design implications past and present, etc.. i just checked cvs and didnt see it in `ipad'. ..
