Hi

Yesterday I turned on Clean Access (L2 OOB VG) using 4.1.1 for the rest of
my department, who are acting as guinea pigs for a deployment to all our
staff. They are all now using it OK, but a large number - probably 70% - got
this error from the agent the first time (only) that they tried to log in:

OOB error: connect device <their-MAC-address> could not be found

I looked this up in the archives, and while there's a solution - unplug the
device and plug it back in - and that works, I don't want dozens of phone
calls whenever we turn on CCA for a group of staff.

I've followed the instructions for setting up the switches (3560s with MAC
notification). When I want to place some ports under CCA control, I use the
CCA Switch Management | Devices | Ports screen and change the port from
uncontrolled to the desired profile, then change the current VLAN to the
untrusted one (we are using VLAN pairs with VG mode). I've tried that with
and without bouncing the port afterwards - seems to make no difference.

I assume I'm doing something wrong, and that there is a way to avoid this
message occurring in the first place. Can anyone help?

Thanks
