We are currently running 4.1.2 Manager, 4.1.3.1 Client. We had this problem
in August when school started (both Vista and XP). I don't remember exactly
what version of the client we were running then, but I think it was the same
as the Manager, 4.1.2. I saw a machine with this problem just last month.
Since we have the temporary role set to 10 minutes, we tell the students to
open the program and run LiveUpdate using the LiveUpdate button on the
Symantec application. They can get through it within the 10 minutes time
limit and then we don't have to wait to see if the Client is going to work
or not.

I would be interested in hearing the outcome of the TAC... maybe they'll be
able to fix the problem.
