We are running Clean Access v. 4.1.1 in high availability for CAS and CAM. I am trying to ensure we are proactively managing and administering our servers. Since Clean Access comes as an "appliance," with the operating system pre-loaded, I wasn't sure if any of you have added packages or changed functionality. Are samba and/or sendmail available by default? Has anyone tried to use these apps? I do see them, but not in the directory I would have expected.
The two things I am currently trying to accomplish are: 1. Run the "fostate" command and send output via cron e-mail to administrators 2. Run a backup and file transfer to windows machine Thank you for any input and assistance. Jamie Pogach Network Engineer Johns Hopkins University
