Hello:

In our case, the udp discovery packets were not correctly routed to the
client from CAS server. We have two core switches and for some reason
clients which were not working were connecting to the CAS server via
core 2 instead of core1. So, on the clients that are not working you
should try doing a traceroute to the CAM and CAS server and make sure
that they are traversing through the correct path. You should also check
if there is any local firewall on the clients which can block the
discovery packets. Hope this helps.

Subject: Grayed out login problems

Hi all -

I think we covered this a little while ago but I've lost my copy of the
email. I have some students who, when they attempt to connect to the
network, do not get the Clean Access client pop up to authenticate. When
they right click on the client, the option to login is grayed out. They
are getting placed directly into the unauthorized role.

Can anyone remember the solution put forward to solve this?

- Sean
