I also opened a TAC case about this. We had to creat a custom check. Check Category: File Check Check Type: File Date File Path: SYSTEM_PROGRAMS \AVG\AVG8\updatecomps.cfg Operator: later than File Date: CAM Date - (however old you will allow the definition files to be, i.e. 3 for 3 days) File Data Type: Modification Date Operating System: your choice
This was the solution we went with. As of the last 3 days, all has been well. My engineer also stated that support for this software will be on the upgrade slated for this summer, pending the results of development testing. ___________________ Chad E Smith University of Dayton On Thu, 29 May 2008 10:01:06 -0400, Nathaniel Austin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >Dennis, > >That is correct. 8.0 free isn't being recognized correctly at this time. >8.0 paid is (I have tested personally with a free trial, and have also >assisted a few customers with creating definition checks for the paid >version because we only have an installation check for it). > >Nate > >Dennis Xu wrote: >> >> I opened a case on this issue.
