If the login box is grayed out, that usually means that there is no
network connection, or there is a personal firewall not allowing the
clean access agent to pass traffic. We have been running into the
personal firewall issue these past few days.

Subject: Vista 4.1.3.2 No Login on Agent

All,

Anyone have any information on this problem? I have an open case with
TAC but wanted to see if the community had any thoughts.

On a few of our Vista clients we install the Clean Access Agent
(4.1.3.2) our server version is 4.1.3. The client never pops up and asks
for you to login. The login button is grayed out. I have attempted to
login wired and wirelessly. We are enforcing L2 Strict but we have other
Vista clients where this works fine. We did have the issue with 4.1.6
but we caught it before it got too far out of hand on our campus.

During troubleshooting with TAC we were able to see the correct arp
entries on both the CAS and the client.

I have tried several different VLANs on different CCA servers and the
behavior persists. Any ideas?
