Good Day, We're seeing an increasing number of Vista machines that fail a CCA windows update check in spite of the Windows update site saying all updates are installed.
With XP a manual install usually did the trick, but my experience so far is that when I try a manual install I get an error saying the update is not suited for the version of Vista. (this has happened on serveral versions). Little trick like copying the file to another directory and then back so as to change the creation date sometime work, but not always easily. I see this as largely a Vista problem but if anyone had some pointers on work arounds, they would be appreciated. ver 4.1.2.1 using copies of Cisco provided update checks Thanks, Bill Doyle
