David, Failed check KB923789 is an issue with Adobe Flash Player. The workaround is to uninstall the flash player using Adobe flash uninstaller and reinstall the latest flash player and patches.

This machine installed XP with SP2 slipstreamed then immediately installed SP3 followed by windows updates. This is Not a SP2 machine with all the udpates applied then to SP3 update machine.
