I have had problems with SAV2009 as well, hopefully it will be addressed soon.

Hi all –
Is anyone else having trouble with the Symantec Endpoint Protection check?
I’m trying to create a requirement that will check if a user has either SEP
v.11 or SAVCE v.10 and it’s not working. When I dumbed the rule down to
just check for SEP on (our test machine has that installed), it is still
failing. Just weirdness.
What’s also funny is that I just ran the test again and it failed again
claiming it failed checking for SEP and SAVCE despite my telling the rule
not to check for SAVCE (trying to narrow down the issue as it were…
