We did the upgrade as well. Coming from 4.1.6 we first had to upgrade to
4.6 as well. The CD upgrade to 4.7 is necessary because the underlying OS
is upgraded from Fedora Core 4 to CentOS 5. Hopefulle future (product
only) upgrades can be done by script again.

We also had to adapt all our requirements to include Windows 7. This is
normal because there are no default requirements when you install the
product.

Luc,

I just upgraded our NAC environment from 4.18 to 4.7.1. We are current
using the Cisco checks/rules and I did have to enable Win7(all) for our
(Windows critical) requirement and tie in the appropriate rules.

Just a a side note, an interim upgrade to 4.5, 4.6, or 4.7.0 was required.
I choose 4.6 as the interim and performed the upgrade via the tar file
script method. The 4.7 upgrade can only be done via CD, burned at 4x (the
release notes indicate to burn at 8x or below, but I did not want to take
any chances). The CD upgrade took more time, it would have been easier to
run an upgrade script.

Hello,

After the upgrade do i have to check the checks, rules and requirements if
they also are enabled for Windows 7?
I think that if i have windows all enabled they are automatically used for
windows 7 clients, is this true?

Thanks,
