We have been cracking down on filesharing activity on our network and
shutting down people that are displaying p2p activity. I have had
students who we shutdown that I believe did not have any filesharing
software on their system. I monitored their system while it was in my
office and found that when they log in Skype is creating p2p traffic to
systems all over the world.
What are other schools doing about p2p including skype, if anything?
