I'd be very interested to know more from Cisco on this as we purchased a
4507R+E with 2 Sup 7's last Fall and just purchased new 3355's in April. We're
planning on moving from In-Band 3140's to Out-of-Band 3355's in July...

Subject: 4507E on 4.7.2

Guys/Gals,
We are trying to install a 4507E into our CAM OOB database with no luck :-(
Cisco told us to try this
[root@UONCAM1A ~]# psql -h localhost -U postgres controlsmartdb -c "INSERT INTO
supported_switch VALUES ('1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.1286', 4, 'Cisco Catalyst 4500
E-Series 4507R+E');"

But we got this error

ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0x91
HINT: This error can also happen if the byte sequence does not match the
encoding expected by the server, which is controlled by "client_encoding".

Has any body got any help here?
Please.
