Supplemental info. We have found that once an e-reader is activated and can get to the web browser they can login to CCA on the web interface and get treated as Linux box. However, on initial setup of the NOOK they have to be able to hit an open Wi-Fi circuit to activate the device, then you can get to the Web Browser. But if the device isn't activated you can't get to the browser, such as brand new out of the box.
