I see. Since that's a multicast packet, it should generally be sent using the nominated multicast IP interface for the IPMP group. That is, you should use IPV6_BOUND_IF and set the interface index to be the corresponding IPMP group interface index. Is there a reason this isn't appropriate in your case? (I'm guessing that there's some cluster-level reason why the normal neighbor advertisement mechanism inside IP itself is not sufficient?) -- meem
