Are Steps 6-7 essential in order to configure the tunnel (in clearview)? They are not essential to the configuration of the tunnel itself, but they are essential for other systems to use the tunneling system as a site-border-router. To put it another way, configuring 6to4 in a site involves many tasks; on is configuring a tunnel on the 6to4 router, another is to configure IPv6 routing on that router (steps 6-7). > b. I think these are valuable steps, as most people configure 6to4 tunneling on a router which acts as the router for a network comprised of multiple systems. -Seb
