Hi, Some of you out there know that I have been working on some scripts to upgrade aggregation.conf to a new format as part of my UV work. So far, all of the upgrade tests have worked except the test from S10U4 to my test image. The S10U4 upgrade failed for no reason that I could see.
Late yesterday I ran another S10U4 upgrade, this time I saved aggregation.conf so that I could analyze it and see if there was something in the file that exposed a bug in my script. For some reason that I don't understand, the S10U4 upgrade test last night worked. I have no idea what I did differently, as far as I can tell, I used the same test procedure I've used for all of my upgrade tests. I did however discover an unrelated bug in my upgrade script. I didn't always use the correct path to aggregation.conf when I called removef to remove it from the package instance. I made a fix there and will run some more tests with the fixed postinstall script. Dan
