We talked, and will update the test plan accordingly later. The basic idea is, to run a set of tests against the link whose linkname is alphabetically the first/last. To make sure the linkname is alphabetically the first/last, rename-link to something as a0 or z0 may be the simplest way. 6502485 is related to the ordering of the ire cache. Besides ire, where will ordering probably be a problem? We need this information to determine what tests to run. (The safest way is to run all regression tests, but it's time-consuming.)
