It was a short week and I spent more than a half day on my dental appointment, so that I was not as productive as I expected:
* Clearview items for the this week ** Went through the ESR UV page and sent the comments to Seb. ** Roch agreed to provide more information about the performance testing this week. ** Discussed with Dan and we agreed to to make his link management low level design as part of the UV design document. ** Updating the UV document (80% done) ** Discussed the correct processing of a physical link removal during system shutdown. ** Discussed the per-driver/per-link/default network device policy in network-discuss alias. So far, the replies indicate the default policy might be sufficient and we should introduce the per-link policy in the future. ** Discussed dlpi_open() fallback logic because the current fallback-after-ENOENT-failure cannot handle all cases. ** Went through the UV inception issues and (I think) addressed all of them. ** Fixed several bugs found during EA testing and UV testing: *** show-linkprop prompts warning when the link is deleted temporarily up-aggr fails *** Bug 6555423, and Dan verified the fix. *** data-link configuration needs to be restored when renaming a (just) connected physical link to a disconnected link. *** Several bugs in the rename-link processing. * Clearview items for next week ** Finish updating the UV document ** fixing bugs found in the UV code ** Discuss with the WPA team and nwam team about the interaction of their project and libdladm and start to work on the changes. * Bugs ** Root caused 6553243 and closed it as a duplicate of 6534183. ** Root caused 6556934 and put myself as the RE. ** No response for 6438988 from the submitter yet. Just sent a reminder mail. ** Took bug 6553243. * Potential trip ** I will probably go to MPK on June for about 10 days, and might need to take several days off during that time. Thanks - Cathy
