I would file a bug for the ipmp problem in the thread at http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=23210&tstart=0 and put down "See Also" CR 6508701. (Or you could mark CR 6508701 as fix incomplete.. whichever makes more sense). I myself would prefer to see a new bug filed because it's easier to collect the information about all the cases you ran into, during your testing (could you please add a description of how to trigger each test case in the comments section?).
As for marking ND_REACHABLE in ire_nce_init, it seems more correct to examine the contents of the res_mp, than to just assume that a non-null fp_mp is acceptable. --Sowmini
