Davide,

Well done on getting past your earlier problem!

On the latest issue, it looks as though the hostname is wrong - maybe the
script didn't work quite right. In which ec2 region did you set up your nodes
- I wonder if this only works reliably in us-east1?

I'll take a look into this but in the short term, please can you try fixing up
the hostnames?

Thanks,

Matt

Subject: [Clearwater] Cacti for Clearwater

Hi!

Cacti installation worked! I used the provided script in
https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/Cacti to create Devices.

It worked smoothly! Cool stuff...

However, the Cacti Device page shows that all clients are down (SNMP error).

ID Graphs Data Sources Status In State Hostname Current (ms) Average
(ms) Availability
clearwater-bono-1 4 3 5 Down 0d 0h 16m ec2-aws.com<http://ec2-aws.com> 0 0 0
clearwater-cacti 5 1 3 Down 0d 0h 16m ec2-aws.com<http://ec2-aws.com> 0 0 0
clearwater-ellis-1 6 1 3 Down 0d 0h 15m ec2-aws.com<http://ec2-aws.com> 0 0 0
clearwater-homer-1 7 1 3 Down 0d 0h 15m ec2-aws.com<http://ec2-aws.com> 0 0 0
clearwater-homestead-1 8 1 3 Down 0d 0h 15m ec2-aws.com<http://ec2-aws.com>
0 0 0
clearwater-sprout-1 9 2 4 Down 0d 0h 15m ec2-aws.com<http://ec2-aws.com>

snmpd is running, I double checked the configuration and the rocommunity should
be '<name>' (clearwater in my case), right? SNMP version is set to 1, I changed
it to version2 but I still get the SNMP error.

How can I enable graphs?

Thanks,
Davide
