Davide, Sorry if I wasn't clear - did you run "service bono status ; echo $?"?. I think $? will always be filled in, so "echo $?" should always give some value.
Glad you've got past this, but I'll see if I can dig around with what went wrong here. Thanks, Matt From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Davide Cherubini Sent: 05 November 2013 03:56 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Clearwater] Cacti installed but Clearwater doesn't work anymore Hi Matt, thanks much for your reply. There was no return code at all, not even an empty line. I decided to redeploy and re-provision the users. Problem solved. I am trying to reinstall cacti but this time I will create graphs manually. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again, Davide 2013/11/5 Matt Williams <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Davide, Note that I think "service bono status" and "service sprout status" just return a return code (no output) indicating whether bono and sprout are running. If you run "service bono status ; echo $?" this should print 0 if bono is running and some other value if not. Alternatively, you can run "sudo monit status" and this will report the status of all processes. Please let me know what you see. I can not restart the services either. Any clue? Thanks a lot, Davide
