The release for the sprint "WALL-E" has now been cut. When upgrading to this release, all bono nodes must be upgraded before the sprout nodes. Otherwise, SIP digest authentication may fail.
This release contains the following new features and bug fixes. New features: * I-CSCF Enhancements - Clearwater implements I-CSCF as well as S-CSCF. When I-CSCF is invoked, Clearwater sends User-Authentication and/or Location-Info requests to the HSS and routes the request accordingly. By default, I-CSCF is disabled but it can be enabled by setting "icscf=5052" and "upstream_hostname=<sprout_hostname>:5052" in /etc/clearwater/config. * IMS AKA - sprout and homestead now support IMS AKA authentication as an alternative to SIP digest. To use this function, the P-CSCF must support IMS AKA, and the HSS must be configured to return IMS AKA credentials. Note that bono does not support IMS AKA and you must be running with an external HSS. Bug fixes: * User-Authorization-Requests always specify REGISTRATION, even for a deregister (https://github.com/Metaswitch/crest/issues/143) * Bono is trying to bind to its public IP.
