I've raised an issue to cover this (https://github.com/Metaswitch/sprout/issues/345), and a fix for it has gone into the release that was announced today (WALL-E). Please can you install the new version and let us know if you see any further issues? [bono]ubuntu@bono:/var/log/bono$ apt-show-versions bono bono/binary uptodate 1.0-140107.175853 When I set the public_hostname= in the /etc/clearwater/config to either the public host or ip, I get the following error in the bono log: 09-01-2014 00:52:01.287 Verbose pjsip: udp0xeffaf0 SIP UDP transport started, published address is 10.121.24.175:5058 09-01-2014 00:52:01.287 Verbose pjsip: tcplis:5058 SIP TCP listener ready for incoming connections at 10.121.24.175:5058 09-01-2014 00:52:01.287 Status stack.cpp:603: Listening on port 5058 09-01-2014 00:52:01.289 Error stack.cpp:521: Failed to start UDP transport for port 5060 (Cannot assign requested address) 09-01-2014 00:52:01.289 Error pjsip: Assert failed: stack.cpp:900 status == 0 09-01-2014 00:52:01.289 Error main.cpp:969: Error initializing stack Cannot assign requested address If I set the option to the private (internal) address, there is no issue and bono starts fine and I can register numbers. But when I attempt to make a call, the call is never completely setup because the soft phones are not able to ACK the 200 OK because the Record-Route header has bono¹s private address instead of the public address. I have a previous version where public_hostname= is set to the public IP and everything is working fine.
