Hi Mauricio,

You don't need to set up the Diameter ports for S/I-CSCF configuration on the
HSS; you only need to set it up so that Homestead can connect to it. This is
done by adding the following to the /etc/clearwater/config file (which you've
already done):

# HSS configuration
hss_hostname=<hss_hostname>
hss_port=3868

To set up MMTel services for a subscriber on the HSS, you will need to:

1. Create a public user identity with the desired SIP URI

2. Configure the public user identity's Initial Filter Criteria to
include an application server named
sip:mmtel.<your.home.domain<sip:mmtel.%3cyour.home.domain>> (where
your.home.domain is replaced with your home domain that you've set in
/etc/clearwater/config)

Further details on this can be found in
https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/External-HSS-Integration and
https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/Configuring%20an%20Application%20Server

Also, Clearwater doesn't currently support DNS NAPTR/SRV lookups; however this
function is in plan and will be available in a later release (likely within the
next month).

Ellie

Subject: [Clearwater] FHoSS Integration

Hi, I would like to ask you about the FHoSS integration with Clearwater.

On the HSS (DiameterPeerHSS.xml) I have this parameters:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- HSS Server config -->
<DiameterPeer
            FQDN="hss.clearwater.org<http://hss.clearwater.org>"
            Realm="clearwater.org<http://clearwater.org>"
            Vendor_Id="10415"
            Product_Name="JavaDiameterPeer"
            AcceptUnknownPeers="1"
            DropUnknownOnDisconnect="1"
            Tc="30"
            Workers="4"
            QueueLength="32"
>
            <Peer FQDN="icscf.clearwater.org<http://icscf.clearwater.org>"
Realm="clearwater.org<http://clearwater.org>" port="3869" />
            <Peer FQDN="scscf.clearwater.org<http://scscf.clearwater.org>"
Realm="clearwater.org<http://clearwater.org>" port="3870" />

            <Acceptor port="3868" bind="10.0.3.50" />

            <Auth id="16777216" vendor="10415"/><!-- 3GPP Cx -->
            <Auth id="16777216" vendor="4491"/><!-- CableLabs Cx -->
            <Auth id="16777216" vendor="13019"/><!-- ETSI/TISPAN Cx -->
            <Auth id="16777216" vendor="0"/><!-- ETSI/TISPAN Cx -->
            <Auth id="16777217" vendor="10415"/><!-- 3GPP Sh -->
            <Auth id="16777221" vendor="10415"/>

</DiameterPeer>

And on BIND9 I set this DNS entries:

$ORIGIN clearwater.org<http://clearwater.org>.
$TTL 1W

                                        15M             ; retry
                                        1W              ; expiry
                                        1D )            ; minimum

My question is about how should I have to configure clearwater to have this
integration, on the /etc/clearwater/config file I use this:

# Deployment definitions
home_domain=clearwater.org<http://clearwater.org>
sprout_hostname=10.0.3.50
hs_hostname=10.0.3.50:8888<http://10.0.3.50:8888>
xdms_hostname=10.0.3.50:7888<http://10.0.3.50:7888>

# Local IP configuration
local_ip=10.0.3.50
public_ip=10.0.3.50
public_hostname=10.0.3.50

# Email server configuration
smtp_smarthost=10.0.3.50
smtp_username=username
smtp_password=password
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>

# Keys
signup_key=secret
turn_workaround=secret
ellis_api_key=secret
ellis_cookie_key=secret

# HSS configuration
hss_hostname=10.0.3.50
hss_port=3868

# I-CSCF/S-CSCF configuration
icscf=5062
upstream_hostname=10.0.3.50:5062<http://10.0.3.50:5062>

I don“t have very clear how to configure the Diameter ports of the I/S-CSCF on
the FHoSS and the Initial Filter Criteria to include the mmtel aplication
server.

I appreciate you to explain me this.

Greetings,

MV
