Hi Alan,

Homestead also supports user-authorization requests, location information
requests, push profile requests and registration termination requests, as well
as the multimedia auth and server assignment requests you've seen.

User authorization and location information requests are only made when the
deployment has an I-CSCF; if your sprout nodes are running purely as S-CSCFs
(which is the default sprout configuration) then they won't make these
requests. To add I-CSCF functionality, please add icscf=5052 to your
/etc/clearwater/config file, and then run "sudo service
clearwater-infrastructure restart && sudo monit restart sprout" on your sprout
nodes.

Homestead accepts push profile and registration termination requests from the
HSS - however OpenIMSCoreHSS doesn't generate these requests automatically and
you'll need to actively send them (you can do this through the OpenIMSCoreHSS
UI).

Ellie

Subject: [Clearwater] Homestead cache

Hi,

I'm setting up Homestead to communicate to an external HSS. I'm referencing
this documentation:

https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/External-HSS-Integration

The only traffic I see is MAR/MAA and SAR/SAA. Are these the only Cx messages
it currently implements/uses?

In the event that the iFC is changed:

  * Does Homestead support Push-Profile-Request (PPR/PPA) from HSS?
  * Is there an API or someway to invalidate all cached entries in Homestead
so that it'll fetch the updated data from the HSS?
Thank you,
Alan
