Hi, Thanks for raising this. I've raised an issue for the first problem (https://github.com/Metaswitch/sprout/issues/743) to fix up the missing angle brackets.
For the second problem can you please send me the Sprout debug logs? These are in /var/log/sprout/. To set the log level to debug, write log_level=5 to /etc/clearwater/user_settings (creating it if it doesn't exist already), and restart Sprout (sudo service sprout stop, it's automatically starting again by monit). Also, what version of Clearwater are you running, and can you give me more details about the scenario you're testing (so that I can try to reproduce it here)?
