The best mechanism to identify the user and distinguish between originating and
terminating requests is to have the AS look at the contents of the
P-Served-User header on the request. See RFC5502 and TS 24.299 s7.2A.15 for
details.

Subject: [Clearwater] application server request direction

Dear List,
Usr A of IMS is calling USER B both user had ifc which point to same
application server for billing purpose i am confused what is standard or method
to identify which request is User A request?
because on call first Sprout send invite of user A to application server and
once billing is done for user A and sproute then lookup for USER B IFC which
points to same AS and sproute again send the same INVITE to Application server
which is confusing AS.

Is that a standard to identify the originating request or terminating request
by setting in IFc. if yes what would the ifc in this case. ( i can set two
different AS one for originating calls and one for terminating calls).

Or the standard is to identify at AS end by using some header or some pointer?

Thanks for your help
