Schahzad The best mechanism to identify the user and distinguish between originating and terminating requests is to have the AS look at the contents of the P-Served-User header on the request. See RFC5502 and TS 24.299 s7.2A.15 for details.

Is that a standard to identify the originating request or terminating request by setting in IFc. if yes what would the ifc in this case. ( i can set two different AS one for originating calls and one for terminating calls). Or the standard is to identify at AS end by using some header or some pointer? Thanks for your help -- Best Regards Schahzad Z.
