Following up on my own question, the issue was DNS related. Apparently the DNS stack does not like the CNAMEs - since we only had one of each node, I setup the DNS as follows (example Ips)
sprout-01 IN A 3.0.0.1 sprout IN CNAME sprout-01 The name resolves fine, but bono wasn¹t working. When I changed the DNS to have sprout.<zone> point to an IP instead of a CNAME things started to work again. The same is true for other inter-node communication - it appears nothing likes CNAMEs - is there a reason for that? On 12/29/14, 3:03 PM, "Matthew M.
