Kevin, My work-around for this was to set local_ip to the IP address of eth0 on the virtual server and set public_ip to the IP address of the public interface of the host OS. Then I had to create a packet filter on the host OS that translates incoming packets to port 5060 and forward them to port 5060 on the IP address of the virtual server. The packet forwarding is specific to the host OS though.
