Hi Nicola,

When Ellis starts up, it creates two Python processes per CPU core, to maximise
use of the available resources on the system. (Other Python processes like
Homer do the same thing.) In your case, you presumably have two cores, so four
Ellis processes are created (ellis, ellis-1, ellis-2, ellis-3), and they each
create a log file, explaining the four separate log files you see for each hour.

Hope that helps,
Rob

Nevermind, sorted out, thanks.

If you could explain the log files rotation mechanisms, it would be nice.

Nicola

Asunto: [Clearwater] Ellis - cannot create indentities

Hi all,

After upgrading to release-75 I'm getting these errors when trying to create
identities to Ellis thru the web interface:

Could you please explain what's triggering them?

On the other side, could you please explain why there are 4 different log files
in /var/log/ellis and why they are modified at the same time?

Please find attached the log file from ellis.

Thanks,
Nicola
