Hi Tam,

We don’t have a built in voicemail server (our built in application server
implements a subscriber of the MMTel services – see
http://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Application_Server_Guide/index.html#the-built-in-mmtel-application-server
 for more details).

The S-CSCF will send the requests on to any Application servers that are
configured in the subscriber’s iFCs. The Application server can either provide
a voicemail service, or pass on the responsibility to another server. From the
point of view of Clearwater though these flows are identical – it will only
ever interact with the Application server (see
https://github.com/Metaswitch/sprout/blob/dev/docs/IscInterface.md for details
of the interface).

An example flow (terminating side of the call between two subscribers on the
same deployment) looks like:

-          I-CSCF (selects the S-CSCF for terminating subscriber) -> S-CSCF ->
Any Application servers for the subscriber (determined from the subscriber’s
iFCs)

Hope this helps,

Ellie

Subject: [Clearwater] Voicemail server for clearwater IMSCore

Hi community,

I'm not sure if there's any built-in/integrated voicemail server available on
Clearwater at the moment or not. However, I can see 2 models below that can
apply for voicemail server. Could you please help to confirm this case?
#1:
PCSCF-----I/SCSCF----Application server----Voicemail server
#2:
PCSCF-----I/SCSCF------Voicemail Server

Thanks,
Tam Vo
