Hi Jake,

In Project Clearwater, Bono acts as an I-BCF, so you should already have an
I-BCF installed, and you should be able to skip to the next step (creating and
editing the user_settings file). After that, you will need to set up ENUM
configuration appropriately
(https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/ENUM), and set up BGCF
(Breakout Gateway Control Function) routing configuration
(https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/IBCF#bgcf-configuration).
That should allow you to make off-net calls.

You should not need to edit the S-CSCF sample files - the default settings work
fine for an AIO node.

Yours,

Chris

Subject: [Project Clearwater] All-In-One vmware deployment Offnet calling with
BGCF and IBCF

Hello All,

I have deployed the All-In-One OVF on our Vmware platform. I have properly
registered a Zoiper client and am looking to test off-net calling. I found in
the Wiki the description to make this work. My questions are as follows:

1. The first step describes install an IBCF using chef or manually.
How is this accomplished with the All-In-One image.

2. There is no etc/clearwater/user settings. The instructions say just
create one, but I have a feeling that without IBCF installed, this is moot.

3. BGCF and S-CSCF sample files. There are samples provided, but do I
just need to complete the IBCF/BGCF portion to make this work for off net
calling or do I need to do anything else?

Thank you

Jake
