Hi Juan,

We've had a few people ask about separating traffic sent to the public and
private addresses owned by Bono nodes. We've raised an enhancement request to
cover adding this function - see
https://github.com/Metaswitch/sprout/issues/364.

In production systems, we strongly recommend deploying IMS behind a Session
Border Controller (SBC) for security, for example MetaSwitch Networks's
Perimeta. The SBC would do the job of separating public and private traffic.
Given that, we haven't yet found time to add this function. If this is
something that you need, it would be great if you could add it. I'd be happy to
help you get started developing on Project Clearwater.

Yours,

Chris

Subject: [Project Clearwater] Public Interface

Hi,

We are a VOIP operator and we are currently trying to implement your IMS
Clearwater in our infra.

We performed the manual installation and we are now in the step of "make 1st
call".

We have the bono which is listening sip on the private interface instead of the
public one. It isn't logical to listen on the private ip.

Can you clarify that? How can we change that?

Thx for your help.

Kr

Juan
