Thank you for the logs. I looked in the Monit logs, and see the following lines:
[CST Jun 25 14:17:30] error : 'cassandra_process' process is not running [CST Jun 25 14:17:30] info : 'cassandra_process' trying to restart [CST Jun 25 14:17:30] info : 'cassandra_process' restart: /bin/bash [CST Jun 25 14:18:00] error : 'cassandra_process' failed to start [CST Jun 25 14:18:00] info : 'cassandra_process' start: /bin/bash [CST Jun 25 14:18:30] error : 'cassandra_process' failed to start This means that Cassandra has not started. Homestead is trying to connect to Cassandra on port 9160, so this would explain the error that you show below. It also looks like etcd is failing to start. We need etcd to start up for Clearwater’s cluster manager to put Cassandra’s configuration in place, so the interesting question is why etcd is not running. The first thing to check is that you have local config set up correctly. If you send over /etc/clearwater/local_config, I can take a look and check. If that doesn’t show up any problems, I can take a look at the etcd logs and see if I can spot anything.
