Hi Kosala,

Thank you for getting in touch.

We’ve written crest (and homer) as a thin wrapper around Cassandra. Crest makes
a lot of assumptions about the type of database that it is writing into, so
switching out the database is not going to be simple.

That said, if you can tell us a little more about what you are trying to
achieve, we may be able to help you to get something working. What are you
looking to get out of another database? Is there a feature missing from Project
Clearwater that we could be adding? Which database are you looking at using and
why?

Yours,

Chris

Subject: Re: [Project Clearwater] Homer in Clearwater architecture

What should I do, if I need a different databse in Homer instead of Cassandra?
I assume that I should re-implement Crest-homer ?
Any reply is appreciated.
Thanks
Ko
