We’ve written crest (and homer) as a thin wrapper around Cassandra. Crest makes a lot of assumptions about the type of database that it is writing into, so switching out the database is not going to be simple. That said, if you can tell us a little more about what you are trying to achieve, we may be able to help you to get something working. What are you looking to get out of another database? Is there a feature missing from Project Clearwater that we could be adding? Which database are you looking at using and why?
