This appeared to be an HSS issue, the UAR/A's are now working. -----Original Message-----From: Trey Ormsbee <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Subject: [Project Clearwater] homestead hss uar diameter request problem Date: Wed, 13 Jul 2016 19:04:55 -0400
Hey all- I have the latest build installed and am using the icscf function in sprout for the first time. After homestead sends the UAR to the HSS, for a sip register, homestead immediately follows that packet with a FIN,ACK closing the connection to the HSS. The homestead log shows this: 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Verbose httpstack.cpp:293: Process request for URL /impi/555555555554444% 40ims.mncXXX.mccXXX.3gppnetwork.org/registration-status, args impu=sip% 3A55555555555%40example.com&visited-network=example.com&auth-type=REG 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Debug handlers.cpp:591: Parsed HTTP request: private ID [email protected], public ID sip:[email protected], visited network example.com, authorization type REG 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Debug cx.cpp:109: Building User-Authorization request for [email protected]/sip:[email protected] 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Debug freeDiameter: No Session-Id AVP found in message 0x7fcb74021600 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Verbose diameterstack.cpp:1427: Sending Diameter message of type 300 on transaction 0x7fcb740221f0 with timeout 200 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Debug diameterstack.cpp:397: Routing out callback from freeDiameter 13-07-2016 22:55:02.390 UTC Error diameterstack.cpp:293: Routing error: 'No remaining suitable candidate to route the message to' for message with Command-Code 300, Destination-Host hss.example.org and Destination-Realm example.org 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Debug freeDiameter: Iterating on rules of COMMAND: '(generic error format)'. 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Debug freeDiameter: Calling callback registered when query was sent (0x45b880, 0x7fcb740221f0) 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Verbose diameterstack.cpp:1097: Got Diameter response of type 300 - calling callback on transaction 0x7fcb740221f0 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Debug communicationmonitor.cpp:82: Checking communication changes - successful attempts 0, failures 1 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Status alarm.cpp:62: homestead issued 1502.3 alarm 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Debug handlers.cpp:647: Received User-Authorization answer with result 3002/0 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Verbose httpstack.cpp:69: Sending response 503 to request for URL /impi/555555555554444% 40ims.mncXXX.mccXXX.3gppnetwork.org/registration-status, args impu=sip% 3A55555555555%40example.com&visited-network=example.com&auth-type=REG 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Info load_monitor.cpp:232: Accepted 100.000000% of requests, latency error = -0.076120, overload responses = 0 13-07-2016 22:55:02.391 UTC Status load_monitor.cpp:285: Maximum incoming request rate/second unchanged - only handled 70 requests in last 2074733ms, minimum threshold for a change is 103736.648438 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Debug diameterresolver.cpp:91: DiameterResolver::resolve for realm , host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, family 2 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Debug baseresolver.cpp:514: Attempt to parse xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx as IP address 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Debug diameterresolver.cpp:175: Target is an IP address - default port/transport 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Debug realmmanager.cpp:381: Adding peer: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Info diameterstack.cpp:833: Peer already exists 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Debug realmmanager.cpp:389: Peer already exists: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 13-07-2016 22:55:03.244 UTC Warning diameterstack.cpp:858: No connected Diameter peers have been found Any ideas what is wrong with this? Bypassing the icscf and going directly to the scscf like I have in the past sends the MAR with no problem. So Im not sure if I am doing something wrong or if something is broken. Thanks, Trey
