Hi Shiva,

I’ve asked around the Project Clearwater team, and we don’t have any experience
with HPLinux. Running Project Clearwater on a new OS always turns up new
challenges, but we usually find that we can work through them.

It looks from your output below that Cassandra is not up and running. You can
confirm this by running sudo monit summary, and checking the status of
Cassandra. If Cassandra is failing, I suggest looking at the Cassandra logs in
/var/log/cassandra to find out why.

If you manage to solve any Cassandra issues and Homestead is still failing
before it gets a chance to write out any logs, I would try running it manually
to see what errors it prints out. You can do this by running:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/share/clearwater/homestead/lib
/usr/share/clearwater/bin/homestead

If the process doesn’t crash, you can stop it with CTRL-C.

Yours,

Chris

Hi,

An update for the same, some of the services are in running state now, which
was due to few packages issue.
Homestead is still failing when I do an infrastructure restart i get the
following error.

Hi All,

I am trying to install a manual setup of clearwater on a HPLinux os, but facing
the following issues.

1. Srpout, Bono, Ralf, homestead, and chronos processes are down.showing
execution failed in monit command.
2. No logs are being generated even with the log_level 5 in user_setting file.

The clearwater-cluster-manager logs shows
InvalidRequestException "Keyspace 'homestead_provisioning' does not exist -->
for homestead
sprout scscf etcd json does not exist --> for sprout

Also while homestead installation got the following error:
/etc/init.d/clearwater-infrastructure: 76:
/etc/init.d/clearwater-infrastructure:
/usr/share/clearwater/infrastructure/scripts/logging.bash: Permission denied
[....] Restarting clearwater-infrastructure:
clearwater-infrastructurezmq_msg_recv: Resource temporarily unavailable

Is there anything extra we need to do for OS other than ubuntu?

Thanks and reagrds,
Shiva charan
