Clementine has stopped working for me (won't scan Dropbox or Box to build a list). After upgrading to Sierra, it played from my Dropbox list, but would hit some tracks that it couldn't find. After deleting Clementine and reinstalling, now won't build the list at all. Am curious that there aren't more Sierra-users complaining of this -- maybe it's not Sierra-related, but can't figure out what else could be wrong. I have another Mac with X.11 and it's working fine.
