Hey guys. I have a subscription to google play, and I use it all the time. I like their playlist management and easy browsing, and I have more than 3000 songs saved with my subscription, so I really don't want to switch from it. The only problem with it is that it can be really restrictive as far as how you can use your library, since I don't own any of the music, I just stream it using my subscription.
Clementine allows you to create a directory in your google drive in order for it to sync songs stored there. Is there a similar way that I could get it to sync my google play subscription library? I'm trying to do this so that I can listen to music without wifi and so that I can use clementine's playback instead of Google Play's. I don't want to stream or sell any of the music I listen to, which is why google play is so restrictive on people's usages of their subscription, but it would be really nice if I could stop being forced into using their music player because that just happens to be where my music is stored. Any advice or ideas? Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clementine Music Player" group.
