you don't need to use Clementine to add music to your Clementine library 
try adding the files into what ever location contains the rest of your 
music files are using a file browser

go to tools>preferences>music library check:
Monitor the library for changes

generally the files will show up immediately, or rescan, or quit Clementine 
& restart
