As Guille has said, using "search and replace" will allow you to edit
your playlists on the windows machine.
Even simple notepad has this facility.
As you have discovered, the playlist files are generated and stored
locally on the machine you are using.
This will only be a problem for you if you envisage switching back and
forth between your Windows and
Ubuntu machines - each will maintain it's own playlist files. If you
make any new playlists and export from one
to the other then you will have to edit the playlist files again to use
the correct "root" for your music files
on your current machine.

Hello there,
I have being using Clementine for a long time. I started using it
in Ubuntu and now I installed it in Windows. But when I tried to
open my playlists they were blank. After some search I opened the
playlist files with notepad. And saw this:
All my playlist that were created in Ubuntu had this Location:
"<location>/media/user/MyExtDriver/Music Library"
While a playlist I just created in Windows has this location:
"<location>G:/Music Library"
Now as you can understand I won't change manually 30 playlist
files and even if I did, just imagine logging in my Ubuntu and try
to open the alternated playlist files.
So if the anyway to change how the location is saved in these two
OSs or am I doomed for eternity?
