I have Clementine running on both Windows and Ubuntu machines. I just recently install 1.3.1 on a laptop running Ubuntu 18.04. I installed Clementine via the PPA if that makes any difference.
The laptop has a very small SSD so I'm using an external HDD for the library. The external HDD is formatted as NTFS. On the majority of songs within the library, I am unable to see the rating stars in a playlist. If I edit the track information in each song I can then see the rating and change it, BUT, after I Save I still can't see the rating in the playlist and if I go back in to edit the track information the change is not there. I checked the obvious things, like is the file write protected. The answer is no. The weird thing is that NOT all songs are affected, but certainly, the majority are. I have a feeling that I've seen this before but can't remember how to resolve it. Any suggestions welcomed.
